The headquarters of the company are located in Sofia, Bulgaria as there is also an office in Pristine, Kosovo that supports its operations on the Balkans; EDS operates successfully on the Balkan region, with a focus on Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia.

Further to the above EDS JSC is a fully licensed defence trader operating in the Balkan countries with a track in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro. The company has experience with the administrative management of personnel and inventory in remote locations-EDS can recruit, payroll and manage security and defence related personnel from Bulgaria with security clearance and all required permissions to participate in missions abroad as the latter are very relevant to current operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. Andrey Bachvarov acts as Chairman of European Defence Systems Jsc. and shares the management of the company with Mrs. Kalinka Kovatcheva, who is a Shareholder and Board member of EDS.
